Weimar:Ur- and Vorgeschichtsmuseum (Museum for prehistory) with copy of partial skull of a second Neanderthal man which was found in the Weimar region; the area must have been settled for a very, very long time.

This younger skull was also found in the area. It shows that skull/head surgeryhad been performed on it

Reconstruction of the kind ofburial used in this area

I love this playground outside the museum

The Goethe-Schiller Monument in front of the Theatre House

View of Weimar from Schloss Belvedere

Belvedere

Coach entrance, Belvedere

Steps leading to the intimate outdoor theatre, often used for entertaining the nobles with newest writings.
Feel the aura even on this cold winter day?

I love this cobblestone path which remembers the steps of many notable German literary and political figures of around      1800
